The performance of our arthroplasty components and global adoption of our Australian designed and manufactured technologies, along with some recent key local and international acquisitions is delivering rapid growth and opportunity.

It’s an exciting time of growth at Corin and our Australian Finance Team are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analyst. This exciting and newly created opportunity is a hands-on and all-encompassing BA role that will see you be an integral part to not only the Finance Team but the Australian Business. This full-time, ongoing position will be based out of our Sydney office located in Pymble.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, your primary objective will be to provide detailed business and commercial analysis, through the preparation of business cases, proposals and financial evaluations, by applying the latest financial modelling techniques, tools and concepts. You will also be responsible for:

  • Running data sets from various sources, interpreting trends and providing value added commercial insights.
  • Assisting the finance team during the month-end reporting by preparing sales reconciliations, sales analysis and cost analysis.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, including maintenance of PowerBI reports and database processes.
  • Liaising with sales, marketing and production to form solutions for current and potential future business needs.
  • Assisting with forecast, budget, dashboards and reports based on business and market data.
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with the implementation of a new forecasting tool
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent, combined with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis. A positive attitude and a passion for what we do is essential.

You will also need to have:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience with proven experience in working with large datasets required
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, tabular modelling amp; power query - highly desired.
  • Experience with EPM planning tools (Anaplan) highly desired
  • New system implementation experience highly desired
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and their staff
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and have a flexible work approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
