Tryzens is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Australia team in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.

You will be responsible for making initial contact with our target market to help them understand how we can help them grow their business.


Reporting to the SVP Commercial, the Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales leads/meetings in Target Accounts for the Sales Director. The role requires you to develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will be primarily focused on researching the Target Accounts in your territory and performing outreach via email, calls, and social media. You will have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally developed by more seasoned sales professionals.

Requirements

Business Development

  • Secure initial prospecting meetings for the sales director with key personas within the target market
  • Programmatic and tenacious outreach via email, cold calling, and social channels
  • Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through research
  • Meet or exceed the assigned quota of outreach and conversion to 1st meeting/lead
  • Working with the Sales Director to support the acquisition of new accounts in the region
  • Help as needed to build awareness on special projects/events
  • Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in the company CRM

Knowledge Sharing, Learning amp; Development

  • Take personal responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry trends and themes
  • Work closely with Tryzens’ client services, operations, technical, and implementation teams to demonstrate our credentials and expertise in new business engagements and pitches
  • Contribute to the learning environment by identifying areas where there is potential for learning and building knowledge with others
  • Adopt the performance management scheme by setting objectives, participating in performance reviews, and building a personal development plan

About you...

  • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
  • Excellent active listening skills are a must
  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
  • Strong communicator with excellent presentation and written skills
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
  • 1+ years of inside sales or business development related sales experience (preferred)
  • Ability to explain complex issues succinctly
  • Driven, self-starter who is motivated by success
  • A genuine interest in eCommerce and digital solutions
