We are seeking an experienced International Furniture Buyer to join our team to research, source and import a range of furniture to complement our existing offerings. We are building the best range of furniture and homewares in Australia and looking for experienced furniture buyers to join our team to help us on this exciting mission.


As a buyer you will be dealing directly with the factories across Asia to import the very best furniture deals in Australia.

This role will see you:

  • Execute great buying opportunities with international suppliers.
  • Strategically manage key furniture categories.
  • Analysing data to make smart import decisions.
  • Have an exceptionally good understanding of what the main trends are in the market by way of competitor research or other methods.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders such as Marketing, Finance Teams, Warehouses, and others.
  • Manage range selection.
  • Set competitive and market leading pricing strategies.
  • Ensuring our product content and deals are market leading, optimally ranked, google optimised to ensure our customers can easily find these great deals.
  • Manage stock, aged inventory, sales analysis and performance targets.
  • Manage replenishment orders to ensure optimal stock levels at all times


  • 3+ years’ experience in an international import furniture buying role. Furniture buying experience is a must!!
  • e-commerce experience looked upon favourably.
  • University Degree qualified.
  • Highly analytical and data focussed.
  • Passionate about furniture / homewares.
  • You are a strong negotiator. You will need to be able to successfully negotiate the very best deals to ensure we can deliver market leading deals to our customers.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with using analytical products such as Google Analytics.
  • Able to multi-task and keep up to the fast speed that the team works at. This is not the role for someone looking for a typical 9-5 job. We pride ourselves on our start-up culture and matching work ethics.
