About The Role
Exceptional opportunity for an experienced implementation consultant to joint our Library and Education business unit either based in Mascot, Brisbane, and Adelaide, Perth or Melbourne location. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you would be responsible for managing end to end system software implementation for our Library product and to deliver professional service excellence to Civica’s customers throughout Australia, NZ and support other international offices in providing these services in their respective regions as required. A component of this role would be spent onsite with our customers to provide professional services.
Responsibilities
- Testing, documentation and due diligence for completed implementations amp; upgrades
- Setting up, installing amp; configuring software
- To communicate effectively with customers in advance of agreed tasks, provide progress updates during tasks and on completion, highlighting issues and recommending follow on actions
- Manage implementation problems, escalating as appropriate
- Assistance, as required, in the distribution and application of product upgrades.
About You
We are looking for a highly capable and customer focused candidate, with experience amp; commitment. You will also have:
- Detailed understanding of SQL Server RDBMS and MS SQL Server environments
- Data Analysis skills with the ability to create, modify and understand SQL Queries
- Exposure to XML will be preferrable.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Notepad++, and windows command prompts
- Ability to foster and promote an ethic of quality and improvement consistent with a professional consulting role
- Study the clients' goals and requirements, observe company processes, point out problems, and propose possible solutions.
- Strong people engagement with the ability to work with customers at all levels.
- Ability to deliver in line with agreed project plans.
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
- Education experience to provide advice to customers to ensure business outcomes are met ( Preferred).
- An understanding of basic accounting terms, e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost centres would be an advantage
- Experience in Telerik would be an advantage.
