About the role

The Technical Client Services Manager is a key contributor within the National Service delivery team. The role will be a technical lead for client projects and any specific technical BAU requirements, collaborating closely with our varied stakeholders to be responsible for our technical solutions from development to handover to business as usual.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

To be qualified for this position, ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role, or your background and skills will comprise of the following:

  • Have technical oversight of all projects involving hardware from inception through implementation and ending in handover to business as usual
  • Manage all technical requirements for client projects from statement of requirements through to hand over to business as usual, ensuring you gather technical requirements from our client, understand, interpret and document for KMI development as required.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and PMO team on all in flight projects, providing technical end-to-end oversight on all inflight projects
  • Development and production of technical documentation, incorporating into the client’s templates as applicable
  • Lead and document technical workshops, ensuring the right technical questions are asked and answered
  • Understand technical solution to estimate technical work effort for future sub orders
  • Technical testing define and develop test cases, risk mitigation, write test plans, use cases etc.
  • Ensure cross team understanding and collaboration (RDT to firmware to IIM or PM solution), bringing internal KM teams together, PS (PM/IIM), NTS, KMI, Service, technical, Customer Service and onsite teams to the same technical understanding (as applicable)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree qualification in related field or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of a variety of solutions and technologies, with expertise in IT services (server architecture, network design), print management, document management/capture or enterprise content management solutions.
  • Proven scoping and technical writing skills, for technical documentations such as: detailed design documents, SOWs, test plans, use cases etc
  • Ability to scope future projects, assessing work effort required, recognising, and ensuring any potential risk areas are captured and mitigated within a SOW
  • Ability to recognise and advance new business opportunities within the Customer environment

Essential Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain an AGSVA NV2 security clearance
  • Experience in high security complex government agencies advantageous
  • Must reside in Canberra or surrounding area
  • Local travel to Sydney will be required from time to time
