Are you the king or queen of Memes?
We are looking for a Master/Mistress of Memes or a Meme Lady/Lord. A witty wordsmith that feeds on facebook, speaks in 280 characters or less and can create instant insta in a snap. Someone with a great sense of humour that can write a funnier job ad than the rest of us.
If you are a creative ideas person with social media running through your veins then we need you to take our social marketing to the moon. Essentially, you’ll be paid to make memes all day, how good is that!!!!!!
What are your royal duties?
- Development and scheduling of content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter
- Work closely with content specialist and graphic designer in producing social content that is on-brand, engaging and relevant to our audience
- Monitor the performance amp; engagement of social media activity on a weekly/ monthly basis using native platform data + social monitoring tools with suggestions on content optimisation
- Ensuring all content is scheduled for posting minimum 1 week in advance
- React quickly to breaking news and hack it for publicity
- Provide support with influencer management and PR reach outs
- Maintain an on-brand aesthetic for all channels with consistent brand tone of voice
- Monitoring of social trends to ensure our cutting edge understanding of best practice and lead innovation across all our social channels
- Ensure comments in all channels are replied to through organic and paid post activity
Requirements
- Firstly you need to be hilarious - If you can make us pee our pants you’re halfway there.
- Strong ability to innovate and creatively think outside of the box
- Highly motivated with great attention to detail and personal drive
- Solid understanding of social media channels and their audiences
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external parties with the ability to foster positive relationships
- You must be super passionate about all facets of social media marketing, excellence and innovation
- Ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop (ideal but not essential for this position)
