Requirements

As a Senior Risk amp; Compliance Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the agenda for risk and compliance at Open.

You’ll work closely with our founders and leadership team, holding responsibility for:

  • general risk management
  • information security risk management
  • maintaining awareness of regulatory changes
  • developing and managing compliance policies, frameworks and procedures
  • developing and managing partner governance approaches
  • promoting internal awareness of risk and compliance issues and processes and developing competence
  • providing advice and guidance to the business on regulatory issues
  • management and oversight of frontline compliance and quality assurance functions
  • identifying and remediating gaps in compliance
  • managing breach and complaints reporting processes
  • reporting on risk and compliance to the leadership team and the board of directors

This role is an exciting opportunity to shape risk amp; compliance management at Open.

Knowledge amp; experience:

  • First and foremost you’re a clear analytical thinker and driver of change
  • At least 3 years experience in a risk or compliance role in the financial services industry
  • Ability to interpret general insurance regulatory legislation
  • Strong compliance knowledge around key regulators (e.g. ASIC)
  • Knowledge of media, marketing and intermediary practices in financial services and interaction of compliance requirements
