Role Overview
Exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join the team at Civica in Perth/Melbourne/Sydney/Adelaide . You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients’ business needs; will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. As part of team you will provide application solution suite and will provide input on analysis, design, and development.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to planning and prioritization of work.
- Develop and maintain code to a high standard.
- Write high performing code and database queries
- Identify the most appropriate design pattern to develop components, which also meets the requirements for Test-driven development.
- Communicate and/or present concepts and ideas to other stakeholders.
- Perform unit and integration testing of work.
- Perform code review.
About You
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Full stack developer with proven experience in building scalable and robust applications. You will also have:
- Solid communications skills; both written and verbal
- Strong technical knowledge with 5+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET/.NET Core framework and C# coding
- Familiarity with JavaScript framework/libraries like Reactive Angular with RxJs
- 5+ yrs of experience in SQL Server/Oracle application development and a strong database design and development skills
- Proficient in current development and source code management tools.
- Experience with web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD and REST
