About the Role
The General Manager, Planning amp; Technology is a member of the Senior Account Leadership Team, providing Datacom and our customer with business, technology and general ICT industry thought leadership. The General Manager Pamp;T is a trusted advisor, building, nurturing and growing strong relationships with key customer staff and across the Datacom group, bringing together people, process and technology to drive innovation and enhance value.
You willseek opportunities to align client’s business outcomes with opportunities for Datacom’s growth, and ensures Datacom’s culture is demonstrated to drive the right behaviours of our people and the services we provide.
What you’ll do
As General Manager, Planning amp; Technology you will:
- Engage with key stakeholders within the customer organisation, Datacom and key partners and vendors.
- Lead the enterprise architecture, pipeline development and pre-sales activities to drive innovation and value creation for the customer and/or Datacom.
- Strategic planning of innovation and value creation initiatives aligned with business objectives and strategic capability enhancement directives.
- Ensure that proposals, solutions and other architecture artefacts maintain a high degree of compliance with contracted requirements and are commercially sound for Datacom.
- Quality Assurance of all architectural, design or other innovation and value creation artefacts delivered to the customer.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone who is passionate and planning and architecture, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position. This is a critical role for Datacom and our client and requires a broad technical background and high level of business acumen. You will bring exceptional knowledge of architecture frameworks, and extensive experience translating business need and context into technical solutions. You will have deep specialist knowledge across the major components of infrastructure, networks, applications, business intelligence and analytics. This is a hands-on role and you will be required to work within your team to generate the right outcomes for our customer.
