About the role

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Product Leader to deliver and execute transformational Product strategies. As a Digital Product Manager at GlamCorner, you’ll play an integral role in defining, driving and executing on the product vision at one of Australia’s leading fashion-tech companies. This exciting opportunity plays a pivotal role in influencing, shaping and reinforcing the product vision that defines our company.

Reporting to COO, you will work closely with Engineering, Fulfilment Operations, Merchandise, Customer Success and Finance teams to build out innovative and intuitive product solutions that serve our customers. This opportunity will suit someone who is commercially and technically minded prioritise features and stories to maximise customer and business value (e.g. through analysis of potential cost reduction based on feature delivery, or potential improvement in customer experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall roadmap across our product offerings including ongoing product strategy, product planning and development requirements for new features, functionality and integrations based on business and customer impact using a priortisation framework
  • Ensure that the voice of the customer is heard every step of the way (from problem validation to solution validation to release)
  • Liaise with key stakeholders by understanding their needs and expectations, and communicating effectively with them
  • Establish the vision for the project/release and communicate the drivers and benefits to all stakeholders
  • Define MVPs, run design sprints, workshops and validate learnings with customer feedback throughout the development lifecycle
  • Integrate the customer’s needs into a prioritised Product Backlog which is continually refined
  • Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent and clear to all
  • Define the Acceptance Criteria of the work to be done with assistance by liaising with various leaders across the organisation
  • Application and demonstration of knowledge and understanding of the product’s impact (on people, process and technology) within the company
  • Work closely with the engineering team and stakeholders to define milestones and ensure on-time, in-scope, and within budget delivery.
  • Work as part of a driven and resourceful team with a hands-on leadership approach to all tasks - including engaging, and overseeing the output of, third-party contractors and freelancers to deliver specific projects where applicable
  • Provide feedback and acceptance of completed work as 'Done' typically through sprint and demo reviews
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team to promote a culture of continuous improvement (e.g. through Agile retrospectives)
  • Embed a strong product testing, analytical tracking and customer feedback loop framework and processes
  • Own the conversion rate of the digital experiences across our digital product channels and use analytical techniques to understand and prioritise improvements

About You

  • Strong experience in consumer facing digital businesses, online retail and mobile products
  • A can-do attitude, analytical mindset, problem solving ability, and the capacity to quickly understand business context and think through technical implications
  • A trusted product leader who has experience building and managing product teams
  • A customer first mindset in everything you do
  • Product Owner / Manager Experience of 7+ years
  • Experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile Tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant IT or business tertiary qualifications
  • A technical background with strong understanding of Big Data or BI
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to understand and articulate roadmap plans
