Job Description

About Eva

Eva wants to help fill your home with beautiful, functional and affordable furniture. With an in-house-everything-team, we design our own products and rely on our values of customer-centricity to engage and delight customers all around Australia. We’d love for you to jump on board as we accelerate towards becoming Australia’s leading digital furniture company.

Overview of the role

For starters, I’m sure you know what a paid digital marketer does (that’s why you’re looking for this job). So we’re not going to bore you with another ‘copy and paste’ job description. Instead, this job ad is going to tell you what kind of people you’ll get to work with and how we get stuff done here at Eva. Here we go.

We’re launching a bunch of new products in 2021 and we’re in need of someone who’s an ‘all hands on deck’, ‘what does the data say’, ‘let me just Google that’ kinda person to join us. A mindset primed towards constant learning is huge here, and if you’ve got it, you’ll fit right in.

About the actual work? To be honest, no two days are the same here. We’re a team of high performing and multi-talented marketers striving to do better than the day before. In a space like ecommerce, while it might seem like a million projects are going on at once, the passion for the work and the people you get to work with is what makes it all the worthwhile. We smash goals, test non-stop and learn quickly. And we constantly get better.

We’re also incredibly fortunate to have ‘everything-in-house’. This means that you could potentially be sitting next to our head of product design who created our timber bed frame, or behind our customer service rep who’ll give you live, real-time feedback about all the ads you make. Customer-centricity is at our core - and we value customer feedback almost as much as we value our metrics here (insert shock, awe, other synonyms).

And the people? I mean, we’re going to the Aussie Open this year after about what seems like a million attempts to buy tickets. If anyone knows how traumatic purchasing tickets from Ticketmaster is, you’ll know how much we value our team culture to do it.

So you’ve made it this far into reading the job ad, thank you. Here’s the more orthodox outline of your responsibilities below. Have a squiz.

Your responsibilities

  • Build, optimise and scale digital social campaigns across a range of digital platforms (primarily Facebook but also Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and more )
  • Execute amp; monitor intelligent split tests on these platforms for sweet, sweet results.
  • Maintain budgets amp; CPA’s, track ad performance amp; create intelligent automations.
  • Analyse all relevant digital marketing data, synthesise amp; communicate data insights back to the design team in a competent, accurate amp; useful manner.
  • Work closely with your fellow performance team to develop/optimise innovative marketing strategies amp; achieve our ambitious goals.

Requirements

  • At least 1-3 years experience working with paid Facebook advertising.
  • Experience working in B2C environments, especially ecommerce.
  • Experience in web analytics, ad tracking, and other biddable media a plus
  • An analytical mindset, someone who can see useful trends in data with Space-X level attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimise campaigns according to budget and objectives.
  • Familiarity with 3rd-party tracking vendors and integrating with social platforms
  • Understanding of broader media planning and buying to ensure integration and coordination with wider media objectives occur
  • Above all, be an adaptable problem solver with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly amp; apply your new knowledge fast

Bonus points (tell us) if you have:

  • eCommerce or retail experience will be highly regarded.
  • Design skills or an eye for design.
  • Long or short form copywriting skills.
  • Technical background a plus (conversion tagging, FTP, HTML, SQL, etc.) with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • A labradoodle

Benefits

  • A role that is as adaptable as you are.
  • Support for any course, conference or training that will help us mutually grow, ears and budget for any wild (but justifiable) idea,
  • An autonomous work environment where there is never a regular ‘days work’.
  • All the coffee/ tea/ beers/ kombucha you need.
