The role:

You will be joining a fast-moving Product Team that ships code to production many times a week, and working with some very talented engineers and designers. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Software Engineer to join a high performing and passionate team.

Internal tools play a critical role in the day to day operations of ClickView. We are looking for someone to work on tooling and automation across the business. From building platform management tools for our Content teams to helping our Sales and Customer Success teams scale. Another component of this role is building tooling for the Product team to optimise how we release software. The ongoing development of these tools has a high impact, driving growth and improving workflows across the organisation globally.

As part of this role you will have ownership and exposure to the entire product development lifecycle, including:

  • Working alongside different business functions to understand their requirements
  • Design solutions to improve internal workflows
  • Create, extend and maintain a suite of in-house web apps and tools
  • Oversee testing and manage deployments

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will be smart, personable and friendly software engineer who communicates in a clear and concise manner. You live and breathe best-practice software engineering and are passionate about using technology to solve problems at scale. You write concise and elegant code in a variety of languages.

Requirements:

  • Experience architecting and building scalable web applications
  • Experience with JS (we predominately use React/Typescript)
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience with backend technologies (we use C# and .NET Core)
  • Ability to communicate and work on projects as part of a team
  • Knowledge of version control (we use GIT)
  • Knowledge of or experience with build pipelines and CI/CD is a bonus
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • No big egos
