We’re looking for a rock star UX/UI designer to join us in our mission to change the pet food game, and help our furry friends live their lives.
In this role, you will own Lyka’s digital customer experience. As a customer-focused designer, you will be responsible for continually optimising our website, but also designing new pages and digital assets, working closely with the marketing, creative, and tech development teams.
As a well-funded and ambitious start-up with incredibly high-growth potential, you will have the chance to work directly with the founders and become one of the key members of the Lyka team at an early and exciting stage in the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing Lyka’s digital assets, including conceptualisation, customer research, benchmarking, wireframing, low-fi prototyping, customer testing, hi-res design and close follow-up of build with our stellar tech team
- Design projects will include optimisation of existing assets desktop and mobile websites, but also greenfield design for new website pages, 2nd website, and mobile app
- Identifying and proposing optimisation opportunities to the existing digital assets
- Designing and running A/B and multi-variate tests to optimise customer experience and improving conversion
- Developing and maintaining our brand personas
- Supporting our Brand and Graphic Designer in helping us take our brand to the next level, assisting with the development of our brand guidelines and UI pattern library
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Proven track record at delivering high quality UX/UI design and able to evidence the impact on customer experience and conversion rates
- Experience with working closely with technology teams to ensure your designs are implemented and executed to the full and are absolutely pixel perfect
- Incredible attention to detail and consistency when it comes to branding
- Natural problem solver and thrives on creating customer solutions through the power of beautiful, user-centred design
- Comfortable with all the usual design tools - Sketch, Invision, Adobe
- Excellent communication skills and able to deliver high quality work at pace
- Positive, can-do attitude and thrives on being part of a small, incredibly focussed team
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Comfortable with changing priorities and direction as the business requires and evolves. Our growth means there are constantly new things to work on every day. As such it’s likely that you’ll often be working across the board on new and exciting projects.
