In this position - located in our Sydney office in Macquarie Park- you will work on projects for a variety of leading Australasian energy generators, transmitters and distributors, to implement and improve OSI's control systems and provide ongoing customer support to ensure reliable performance and world-class customer satisfaction. Specific, on-the-job training will be provided. In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Design, plan, integrate, test, train and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
• Define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments as necessary (Project or Product Management, Software development, etc.).
• Assist in creating project documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and communication issues.
• Provide customer support and assistance.

Requirements

• Australian Citizen or Permanent resident with full working rights, preferably based in Sydney
• BS or MS degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML and XML;
• Knowledge of networking and operating systems.
• Strong technical background in automation and computers. Preferably in Electric utility industry and/or automation/SCADA project experience.
• Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites for field work.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Ability to work on several projects in parallel.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
