With an exciting growth period ahead, Hearth is seeking an experienced People amp; Culture Generalist with a focus on strategic initiatives while providing support for the day-to-day People amp; Culture operations.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the position is responsible for implementing the People amp; Culture strategy to ensure we attract, retain, and develop an engaged and capable disability support services workforce into the future.
Responsibilities Include:
- Implement organisational change initiatives to support Hearth’s FY22 growth plan
- Support recruitment amp; talent acquisition activities
- Coordinate the onboarding amp; induction process in consultation with the recruitment team
- Manage the annual performance management cycle and remuneration review
- Build workforce and management capability
- Coordinate the learning and development program and engagement initiatives
- Act as a point of contact for people-related issues, advice, and consultation
- Review and update policies amp; procedures and maintain employee files
- Support and lead Pamp;C projects and initiatives including reward amp; recognition, engagement, retention, workforce planning, remuneration, benefits, and talent management
- Promote a culture of best practice and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong generalist Pamp;C experience in a fast paced outcome-focused environment
- Bachelor Degree in HR or related field
- Experience within the disability / community services space non-essential but highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- High level organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- The legal right to work in Australia (essential)
- Willing to undergo an NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
