About The Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join Civica’s largest project in our Melbourne office. Join a hard working amp; dedicated team where you would be accountable for delivering consistent and high quality testing services to support the business and other stakeholders. As the Test Manager you will have a proven record of successfully testing programs in complex, large organisations.
You will have a demonstrated ability to undertake Team Management, Continuous Improvement of testing processes and procedures, test automation, development and delivery of test plans and schedules in a large government enterprise for a similar type of project.
The project will require a mature and collaborative approach to test management incorporating flexibility, dynamic problem solving and critical judgement.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assess and document any risks or issues that threaten the achievement of the testing deliverables
- Define the scope of automated testing within the context of each delivery
- Balancing the workloads within the Test team to ensure that project milestones are achievable
- Preparing appropriate status and completion reports concerning testing, including presenting an aggregate view of test utilisation to high level management.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practice in testing methods and tools
- Establish and utilise contemporary testing toolsets and have a detailed understanding of testing methodologies including:
o Spec Flow
o Azure DevOps
About You
We are seeking an experienced Test Manager who has worked on large projects and vast environments across any industry. A strong communicator with the ability to extract the right information from the relevant parties. You will have:
- Exceptional analytical, numerical and reporting skills
- Experience in Reporting (Preparation Reports, Execution Reports, Defect Statistics and Analysis)
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and testing processes
- Experience in writing testing artefacts (Detailed Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Summary Report)
- Systematic approach to planning and testing
- Working knowledge of JIRA/ADO
- ISTQB Test certification(Good to have)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to advise and mentor other staff
- Ability to develop good working relationships both external and internal
