Exciting Opportunities available for two 5 month Secondments as the Team Support Officer in Sheriff Communications.

  • Perform coaching to lift capability of our team members supporting them to be their best and providing feedback

  • Ability to identify possible Probity and Privacy events and understand the importance of immediate escalation
  • Think broadly, understanding and highlighting impacts to other teams, to reduce the overall effort

About The Opportunity

As a Team Support Officer, this role will see you as a subject matter expert, fielding amp; responding to questions from the team in timely and professional manner. Reporting to Sheriff Communications Team Leader and working to identify amp; deliver training needs across Sheriff Services for both new amp; existing employees.

Duties

  • Conduct Quality checks and provide feedback to the Team Leader
  • Assist the Team Leader with escalations
  • Accurately produce operational reports as requested, in line with business requirements
  • Ensure your knowledge is current and in line with SCS work instructions and relevant legislation.
  • In the absence of the Team Leader, ensure the team are supported and that all priorities are processed within the agreed timelines
  • Provide support to the team when knowledge gaps are identified and ensure your responses are both professional and timely.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Sheriff Communication work instructions amp; business rules (other teams processes also highly regarded)
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with cross-functional CJS teams, leadership team and our client in a calm, friendly and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training
  • Quality auditing skills
  • Intermediate-advanced proficiency with computer programs (e.g. MS Word, Excel skills amp; Power Point)
