The Role
Reporting to the Bank Delivery Lead you will be responsible for coordination of Slyp’s technical and nontechnical bank and merchant specific activities, interfacing with Bank and merchant working level teams and short term coordinating technical support.
We have a large pipeline of product deployments and integration operationalisation for major institutions. Slyp aspires to create products with quality metrics that compare with top tier banking apps and global B2C digital products.
Some of your responsibilities
- Coordinating activities with bank and merchant project teams. Ensuring assumptions are flushed out via strong documentation and communication
- Providing activity coordination through collaboration with Slyp Stream Leads and others with responsibilities to develop objectives for streams and ensuring follow through to committed timelines.
- Tracking pre-project activities ensuring close-out
- Capturing and providing status of stream activities and rolling up to project status.
- Reporting and tracking of key Issues and Risks
- Maintaining and reporting progress on delivery milestone chart
- Maintaining and following up with owners on readiness checklists when required
- Facilitating and minuting meetings with external parties including bank teams
- Coordinating with the Scrum Master and communicating releases for banks
- Facilitating triaging sessions, assigning issues and tracking to SLAs
- Short term: providing support responses to reported bank and merchant incidents
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role such as project manager, delivery lead, business lead or delivering digital products or services is preferable
- The ability to create and manage plans that brings together an agile build and release approach with a client’s waterfall approach
- Leading pre-project streams, addressing ambiguity, enabling commencement of project mobilisation
- Experience in leading triage sessions, assigning, tracking and ensuring resolution within SLA timeframes
- Experience in creating needed structure and process to ensure consistency of outcomes
- Ability to communicate technical issues to business stakeholders
- Ability to decompose milestone plan work with team leads to create sprint backlogs or stream activity plans
- Negotiate priorities in a resource constrained environment
