Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Account Allocator to join our team and work out of our Brisbane Office. We are looking for an energetic individual who will join a productive small team who will contribute to the retention and growth of our clients.
ACFS is the largest privately owned container logistics operator in Australia.
ACFS sites are strategically positioned with close proximity to all major ports. These locations ensure that our operations have dynamic and efficient access to wharf terminals.
The Account Allocator will be responsible for:
- Act as key liaison between ACFS Port Logistics and the customer to coordinate deliveries amp; pickups, FCL amp; empty movements
- Provide ongoing engagement and communication with the customer to ensure exceptional customer service levels
- Work collaboratively with other ACFS teams (Transport, 3PL, Customer Service) to ensure effective outcomes for the customer.
- Generate weekly/monthly report on activities
To be successful in this role you will:
- Prior experience with managing a fleet of trucks for container deliveries is necessary
- Experience with container movements, collections from the wharf and delivery to client
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Power Point and Excel spreadsheet.
- Maximas and Container Chain not essential, experience would however be desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Transport, and/or Freight Forwarding and/or Warehousing experience.
