About the Role
An opportunity exists for a Vehicle Surveyor to join the team at Altona.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Survey all inbound vehicles at the wharf for any damage including paint damage, missing parts etc. and to ensure all compliance has been met
- Conduct Wharf surveys as required
- Complete the required documentation within our system
- Liaise with the yard to accommodate incoming shipments
- Ensure all customer service levels are met and liaise with stakeholders regarding vehicle inspections
- Liaise with transport to track shipment progress
- Liaise with the Operations Supervisor on a daily basis with regards to completion of allocated tasks and advise on any issues or problems
- General administration duties
About You
To be successful you will possess the following:
- Sound knowledge and experience in logistics and/or the automotive industry
- Previous experience within a vehicle processing environment or insurance assessing/surveying experience
- A full drivers licence with the ability to operate a manual car
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
