ABOUT US
Seer is developing technology to revolutionise the diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, with a special focus on epilepsy. Our mission is to deliver deep personalised clinical insights and advance patient experience with leading-edge technology. Our technology consists of wearable devices, a cloud platform and machine learning systems. These systems are at the core of our at-home video-EEG-ECG monitoring and diagnostic service - the first of its kind. Seer has already made a big impact across Australia over the last 3 years and is now building for international expansion.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
We're building a web platform to power wearable and implantable devices that are about to enter the healthcare market. This platform stores and manages biomedical data from these devices, allowing us to provide personalised insights, predictions and alerts to patients in real-time. The platform currently supports our at-home video-EEG-ECG diagnostic services, enables research and clinical trials across the world, and helps people better manage neurological conditions. There are many improvements we’re looking to make so we can help more people.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our epilepsy diagnosis team is growing and we’re looking to add a UX designer with some UI chops to help us develop new capabilities and features, and improve the experience of the current feature set. These features allow patients to better understand their data, allow clinicians to quickly follow and track their patient’s condition, allow our clinical staff to easily manage referrals and patient data, our data scientists to curate and build upon de-identified patient data, and allow us to connect with physical devices for recording data. We’re excited about how we’re able to help people now, but we’re really excited about the technology we’re developing to help so much more in the future.
You’ll be a full time designer in this team, joining a group of highly skilled and enthusiastic developers and product managers. The department also has a number of experienced UX designers you’ll be collaborating with to ensure we’re providing the best experiences possible. Your main initial focus will be enhancing our complex and powerful web platform with your UX skills while adding a level of polish with your UI skills.
A successful UX Designer at Seer works closely with developers, marketing, internal users and other UX team members to define the user experience, champion the needs of our users and propose solutions. Our users are people living with epilepsy, carers, and clinicians. If you want to use your skills to directly impact patients’ lives, then this is the job for you. Our Designers achieve success by designing how people use and interact with Seer’s products to perform tasks in a simple and satisfying way.
