The Opportunity As Afterpay’s Payroll Manager, ANZ, you’ll be responsible for managing and executing end to end payroll activities for our Australia, New Zealand and Asia businesses. Reporting directly to our Global Payroll Manager, you will oversee and execute a range of payroll tasks, such as ensuring on-time and accurate payments, liaising with our Payroll Vendor, and responding to payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders, among others. This is a full time and permanent opportunity based in our Melbourne office.

Here’s where you will begin- Manage the payroll operations for Australia, New New Zealand and Asia- Lead a small team to deliver on time and accurate monthly payroll for Australia, New Zealand and Asia- Oversee and be hands-on with all end to end payroll activities for the Australian and New Zealand business, including data entry, processing of various salary components such as leave, commission and overtime, and reconciliations- Work with our external vendor to disperse superannuation and tax- Post payroll related information to the General Ledger- Partner with the Global Payroll Manager and broader Finance team on system and process improvements- Assist the broader business and external parties on matters relating to payroll and your employee group
