Cruise Whitsundays is an award winning, innovative and experienced maritime operator, based in Airlie Beach. Our experiences include day and overnight tours throughout the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef, as well as resort connection services. We are proud to offer Australia’s first underwater accommodation, Reefsuites, on The Great Barrier Reef and exclusive Reefsleep experience at Reefworld on Hardy Reef.
About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for motivated and enthusiastic superstars to join our team in 2021!
Our team is passionate about the places in which we operate, the memories taken away by our guests and their enthusiasm as ambassadors of the incredible experiences we bring to life.
As the largest maritime operator within the Whitsundays region, there are a variety of positions required to help achieve our primary purpose of "Sharing Special Places, Shaping Lasting Memories".
Our prospective casual opportunities will evolve based on business requirements throughout the year, and we encourage all applicants that are interested in working with Cruise Whitsundays in 2021 to express interest through this channel.
Casual opportunities that may arise, but not limited to;
* Hospitality Attendants (Fine Dining Famp;B, Housekeeping and Barista experience is essential)
* Guest Experience Supervisors (Minimum Certificate III Hospitality qualification and prior experience in a hotel/lodge/resort)
* Chefs [Reefworld and Cruise Café amp; Bar ] (Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification)
* Cooks and Kitchen Attendants (Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification preferable)
* Cruise Attendants(Minimum RSA qualification)
* Deckhands (Minimum ESS qualification)
* Vessel Masters(Minimum Master 5 and MED 2 qualification)
* Vessel Engineers(Minimum MED1 qualification)
* Reservations Consultants - Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island based
* Porters/Grounds Crew - Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island based (Must hold valid open Drivers License)
About You
The ideal candidates will be motivated with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. You will be a team player with a demonstrated positive "can-do" attitude, have previous experience in a similar role and proud of your professional service delivery! Requirements will vary pending role of interest, however, you will ideally meet the below criteria;
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 1-years' experience in a similar role;
- Hold relevant qualifications for the role including your RSA, Food Handling and First Aid/CPR/O2 attainments;
- Have the necessary working entitlements to work in Australia, with a minimum 6-month commitment;
- Be highly self-motivated, with great energy - A real multi-tasker!;
- Have exceptional teamwork and leadership skills, with a great eye for detail;
- Demonstrate excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Have proven ability to work autonomously and part of a team;
- Impeccable personal integrity; and
- Be able to work flexible hours which may include weekends, public holidays and extended hours.
