About the role
Multiple opportunities exist for passionate and self-motivated professionals to join the housekeeping team based at the Darwin Terminal. In this role you will be responsible for supporting quality service delivery and providing exceptional guest service experiences in the areas of housekeeping and support services for all arriving and departing train services.
Requirements
Reporting to the Terminal Supervisor some of your tasks will include but are not limited to;
· Cleaning and housekeeping tasks on-train and in the terminal
· Accommodation set up on-train
· Platform duties, including luggage handling
· Greeting guests upon arrival and assisting them with check-in and concierge services
· Operating the café and souvenir area
This position is physically demanding working on your feet for long periods on time and in confined spaces. To be successful in this position you will have a sharp eye for detail and quality of presentation and be able to operate calmly under time pressure. Experience cleaning and understanding of cleaning chemicals is highly desirable.
The arrival and departure times of our journeys vary, and you will require flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
A uniform will be provided to maintain professionalism and a high standard of personal presentation in line with our company personality.
