About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Porter/Grounds Crew member to join the team on a casual basis. this role will be based between our Port of Airlie Terminal, Hamilton Island Marina and Hamilton Island Airport operations.

This role would ideally suit a motivated individual with flexibility around shift times and days and who are keen to grow with the company. The role involves greeting customers and making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive, managing the movement of luggage and assisting the vessel crew keep to a timely schedule.


About You

The ideal candidate will be passionate and proud of the service that you deliver and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests motivated to create ongoing memorable and unique guest experiences. You will be a team player with a demonstrated positive "can-do" attitude, have previous experience in a similar role and ability to deliver professional service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-years' experience in a similar customer service role, with previous reservations experience highly regarded
  • Must hold a valid drivers license, and first aid qualifications will be highly desirable
  • Have the necessary working entitlements to work in Australia
  • Highly self-motivated, with great energy - A real multi-tasker!
  • Great attention to detail with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and extended hours
  • Reside in Hamilton Island or be willing to relocate
