Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries for our unique menu at Eureka 89.
Your skills in baking high quality pastry lines should be matched by your creativity to develop new amazing tastes and recipes, to ensure our guests are taken on a dessert journey to remember.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; REQUIREMENTS
- Prepare all desserts, cakes and pastries for the restaurant menus and degustation’s
- Oversee allergy and dietary training as required and ensure training is in accordance with strict company guidelines
- Creative in menu development including production of new pastry lines aligned with seasonality and current food trends
- Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness and general safety of all team members working in the food preparation areas is adhered to at all times
- Compliance with all HACCP and COVIDSafe requirements
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fine dining establishment in a similar role
- Be well versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations
- Must hold relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications, food handling and first aid certificates
- Must have the necessary working entitlements to work in Australia. This is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start
- A team player and role model for all staff with effective communication skills and a positive "can-do" attitude
