Job Description


As an Accounting Analyst, you'll keep the ANZ business operations and activities organised and moving forward. You're a self-starter who can recognise where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them. Using your strong communication skills, you'll effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of moderate to high complexity and scope. You're also able to analyse and anticipate the needs of the business and key projects, which means you'll acquire a thorough knowledge of Amobee’s products and services. You'll provide strategic support such as evaluating data or resolving minor operational issues with your manager's guidance.
Additionally, you'll be interacting with leaders both inside and outside of Amobee, which means you have the ability to perform flawlessly and professionally in a fast-paced environment along with the grace and willingness to change direction when circumstances demand. You'll be expected to demonstrate strong business judgment, professional etiquette and organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Processing of month end reporting up to the trial balance stage
  • Process accruals, prepayments, journal entries, foreign currency payments, and amortization amp; depreciation
  • Reconcile the general ledger, balance sheet, and bank accounts
  • Assist with AR/AP, payroll, and tax projects on adhoc basis
  • Manage inter-company transactions
  • Partner Finance and HR in monthly/quarterly Operating Cost and Performance Metrics. Identify and highlight any potential risks and opportunities in the business to the leadership team.
  • Facilitatetheweekly business revenue meeting with revenue leads and monitor sales progress vs budget, quota
  • Take ownership and lead in any systems rollout by global (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Keep track of Leadership Team priorities, execution and support the team in any commercial reporting, trends and insights
  • Participate and lead in annual/quarterly BU AOP Planning and tracking

  • Internal: Australia Leadership Team, Sales Operations, Finance, HR

Desired Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years accounting or finance experience
  • Experience in forecasting, analysis and comprehensive business reporting to provide accurate and insightful recommendations
  • The ability to think strategically and implement methods to ensure procedures are completed at the highest standard
  • Able to build solid internal and external relationships at all levels
  • Must possess a desire to take on tough and challenging projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must
  • Proficiency in Tableau, a BI solution, and SQL is an advantage
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and managing multiple projects
  • Expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters
