Job Description
Corin Australia is looking for a motivated and innovative Software Verification Engineer to join the Optimized Ortho (Technology) division of our growing team. This is a full-time, ongoing position and will be based out of our Sydney office located in Pymble, close to public transport. What you will be doing
- Designing and implementing new software verification tests and test scripts, with a focus on test automation
- Developing automation test scripts and test cases for regression tests
- Supporting the software validation and verification processes within Corin’s Quality Management System
- Preparing documentation including but not limited to verification and validation plans, requirements, verification reports, test scenarios and project documentation
- Assisting with manual testing; execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/tracking tools
- Ensuring traceability of requirements to verification and validation activities for software projects
- Providing verification guidance across the business to ensure compliance
- Collaborating with Ramp;D, Production and Quality departments to ensure projects meet procedural and regulatory requirements
- Contributing ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables
Requirements
On your first day, we would like you to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical (bonus points Biomedical) Engineering
- Significant software experience combined with 1 - 4 years of industry experience
- Strong technical understanding of Software development and IT infrastructure
- Experience with automated functional testing tools and an enthusiasm for software development
- Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well and contribute in a positive way in a team environment
- A passion for the best patient care
- Proficiency in writing procedural and technical documents
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Quality focused with strong attention to detail
- Self-directed and results orientated
- Ideal:
- Development experience in C#, Selenium, Specflow
- Understanding of test automation
- Experience using Jama software
- Experience in software design and implementation
- Experience using JIRA or similar defect management tools
- Experience with medical device verification, standards and processes
It would be awesome, but not required if you have
- Prior medical device experience or experience working within a regulated environment (bonus points for exposure to 62304 or 13485)
