The Workforce Management Specialist is responsible for managing the production team structure and will partner closely with the recruiting team to ensure we are hiring employees to the right schedule. Develop and Manage Team Structure:
  • Work with Production leadership to create and maintain teams within the Production department
  • Provide ongoing management of teams including, but not limited to, maintaining a roster of all Production teams and assigning new employees to a team
  • Maintain an ongoing understanding of Production team needs (i.e. team openings) to provide feedback to recruiting teams
Scheduling Maintenance and Tool Maintenance:
  • Sole owner of the scheduling tool as well as any updates made to the Production schedules
  • Deep dives all schedule discrepancies within the scheduling tool to root cause and work with stakeholders to remedy
  • Acts as a liaison between HR and Production to ensure all Production schedules held within the scheduling tool are accurate
General Responsibilities:
  • Follow the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
  • Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs

  • Self starter who approaches challenges creatively
  • Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or operations setting
  • Experience with forecasting and planning, workforce management, staffing, and/or scheduling in a production environment a plus
