Front End Engineer Currently we are looking for a Front End Engineer to help us build front end solutions using the latest technologies in a truly agile fashion. Our teams are made up of solutions focussed engineers who are creating clean scalable code and are already engaged in some seriously interesting and complex projects.

We are the world’s leading guest acquisition platform for hotels, supporting 35,000 hotels in 160 countries to generate more than 87 million reservations on our platform each year.As a Front End Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design and code high quality software that is simple, efficient and testable
- Mentor and teach best practices, latest technologies and programming languages / frameworks as needed
- Collaboratively work on and contribute to the construction of the component library and design system used by all of SiteMinder’s products
- You will be responsible for co-designing + delivering a high-quality UI solution
- Work within a team of multi-disciplined designer and developers
- Take a collaborative approach and follow best practices to deliver the component
- You will have regular interaction with other product engineers and will be expected to clearly communicate your ideas and/or concerns
- Technical proficiency in web development
- Strong communication skills and great problem-solving skills
- Ongoing management of the Website/Design system, communicating with the Engineering team, and maintain the consistency
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting problems to ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the publishing platform/system, ensuring programs and applications perform to specification and match the standards,
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3+ years experience in reactive frontend technologies/ framework Vue.js, React.js, and Angular.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript, including DOM manipulationHTML5 and CSS/SCSS
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM. etc
- Accessibility Knowledge
- JS test framework "Jest Enzyme, Jasmine, etc"
- Love simplicity and code that just work
- Familiarity with code versioning tools and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with modern build pipelines, CI/CD, and tools (bamboo, docker, Buildkite)
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframe into high-quality code
- AWS experience using the following products: S3, CloudFront, Route53
- Opinionated but strive to understand every point of view and commit to the company's strategy
