The Role
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced, resourceful and dynamic Account Manager to join the Redox sales team. Located at our Laverton North office,the position plays a significant role in key account management and market development in the region.
In this position you will drive sales for our Plastics division with clients across Melbourne. Your extensive sales experience and knowledge will assist you in approaching the challenging patch of key clients we provide you. You will be tasked to develop and grow the sales and profitability of these clients, along with locating new potential targets.
You will be goal-oriented and competitive, with a knack for negotiation and customer relations. You’ll have a proven track record of developing new business, as well as maintaining strong client relationships.
Essential qualities and skills
- Australian citizenship, or Full Time hours working rights.
- A valid driver’s license.
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B / key account sales with selling thermoplastic polymers amp; additives to injection moulders, blow moulders amp; extruders and some polyurethanes experience would also be highly valued.
- A hunger to develop valuable relationships and uncover new business.
- The ability to communicate confidently (verbal and written), with an excellent phone manner.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (science/chemistry, business, etc.);
- Computer skills, including using Microsoft Office suite.
