About the Team

Mozo is based in the Sydney CBD and has been one of Australia’s fastest growing businesses as per the BRW Fast 100 list. A month ago it was acquired by Future Plc, a FTSE 250 company. We operate a financial services marketplace, providing leads and advertising to the retail banking, energy and insurance sectors, while at the same time helping consumers save money.

We’ve spent 12 years building our product and service and we are now targeting ambitious revenue growth targets. Therefore, we’re looking for an experienced account manager with well-rounded and proven sales skills to maintain our current excellent relationships and to find new opportunities for growth.


Job Purpose

Looking to use your account management skills in an entrepreneurial digital business? By bringing in your skills to Mozo, you will have a direct impact on the growth of the business. This role will suit you if you love the thrill of the sale, you’re enthusiastic about managing large accounts, finding new opportunities and are comfortable with analytics tools that assist a modern sales and account management function.

As part of your role you will:

  • Liaise directly with finance industry clients and their appointed media agencies;
  • Manage a suite of our top client relationships which you will be responsible for, including attending to their requirements and growing them as customers;
  • Upselling amp; cross-selling the full suite of Mozo’s offering to the financial services, insurance and energy industries. This includes selling Mozo’s B2B data services and solutions to clients and Mozo’s awards;
  • Respond to client briefs and creating sales presentations;
  • Be a key member of the product development cycle at Mozo as a representative of the customer;
  • Achieving defined targets on a monthly and annual basis;
  • Effectively manage client budgets, which will require excellent attention to detail;
  • Be comfortable with the use of analytics as an input into decision making; and
  • Identify where processes can be improved, suggest such changes, and assist with its implementation.

Requirements

What do I need to succeed?

  • Have 2-3 years of experience in an agency OR dealing with affiliates within a financial services company
  • Be able to manage existing clients day-to-day requirements and be comfortable with presenting cross-selling opportunities where appropriate;
  • Have knowledge and experience in digital performance advertising metrics such as CPL, CPC and CPA;
  • Be confident in managing multiple clients across the Financial Services Industry;
  • Have existing or be willing to cultivate new contacts within the industry to enable Mozo to explore new opportunities;
  • Demonstrate the use of analytics to drive effective outcomes for the client and Mozo;
  • Have a can-do attitude, with excellent attention to detail;
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills;
  • Have strong initiative, self-drive and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team;
  • Contribute to the team environment at Mozo;
  • Be able to travel domestically (when COVID guidelines permit)
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
