Job Description

We are looking for an Optimisation Consultant who will draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data to inform conversion rate optimisation programs, project roadmaps, coordinating with development and design teams to deliver client success that will enable them to grow their online channels through increased revenue generation and improving the customer experience. With a passion for data, you will be part of a team that is driven to provide actionable insight on behavioural metrics. It would be preferable if you have past experience in an analytical role working in a digital setting, ideally within a retail business or a large complex organisation with an understanding of improving the customer experience through the use of data.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in driving the strategy and roadmap for the Trade performance and CRO services at Tryzens.
  • Implement all facets of CRO programs including planning, idea management, testing, optimisation, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Setting up and utilising A/B tests, using an A/B tool to optimise funnels across digital channels.
  • Analyse performance data, metrics, and make decisions based on the analysis to provide clients with clear visibility of the expected return on investment for each proposed change enabling more educated business decision making.
  • Active optimisation of the user journey, acting on key metrics and KPIs, through continuous website testing and user experience improvements.
  • Convert qualitative and quantitative data into insight and information to drive prioritised testing and optimisation.
  • Review and understand client inbound traffic generation methods and how the quality of this traffic impacts conversion rates.
  • Create and execute deliverables that help inform the ideal experiences for users. This could include items such as website audits, user journeys, user scenarios and personal development.
  • Develop test plans and campaign requirements to be implemented by the Creative and Technology teams.
  • Continual evaluation and improvement of the effectiveness of campaigns through data-driven strategy and KPI focused analysis.
  • Share results and insights to the business to inform business decisions and the overall roadmap. Lead the element of the future recommendations of the Customer Quarterly Service Review to ensure the content is relevant to the client and is aligned with the customer business strategy.
  • Lead CRO efforts across multifunctional teams to develop innovative product offerings that achieve brand goals and business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to understand the end-to-end customer journey and make recommendations regarding website design and user experience.
  • Make frequent and relevant contributions to the Tryzens knowledge base and best practice repository of reusable solutions and processes.
  • Take part in industry events and conferences to keep up to date with industry trends and networking.
  • Keep up to date with the latest eCommerce industry trends and solutions and market influences.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvements of Tradestate BI tool by listening to what clients want and input into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CRO experience working client or agency side in eCommerce.
  • Deep experience using Website Analytics tools and A/B Testing Tools e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Hands-on experience with CRO amp; heat map tools (Google Optimize, Optimizely, HotJar, etc.).
  • Expert experience of A/B and MVT testing, creating test plans and analysing results.
  • Strong knowledge of UX best practices to create engaging web experiences.
  • Understanding of best practice SEO principles.
  • Experience leading multiple client optimization roadmaps and strategy.
  • Experience in Planning, Conducting and Analysing User Research Techniques.
  • Confident Communicator and presenter with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable passion for emerging technologies and usability trends with demonstrable experience leveraging this to deliver trade performance.
  • Proven track record of delivering and exceeding business KPIs to increase sales through digital channels.
  • Ecommerce, Retail and Trading experience pref
