Timely has come a long way since its inception in 2011. We’ve grown an online community of over 46,000 beauty professionals across 90 countries that use our cloud-based business management software to book over 30 million appointments a year.

About the role

Our current Head of Sales has decided it's time to step into a new opportunity within Timely, and this means we're looking for someone to take over the reigns. The Head of Sales APAC will lead a team of 7 AE's and SDR's based in Melbourne and will work closely with our UK sales function, so will need to be prepared to flex their time across NZ, AUS and UK timezones.

In the next 3 years we have ambitious growth plans. The key components of our strategy to achieve this is to focus on the hair and beauty verticals across english speaking countries serving solo’s right up to 50+ staff and multi-site businesses

The Head of APAC Sales role is central to the delivery of these strategic goals.

What you'll do:

  • Recruit and retain high calibre sales team members
  • Lead and manage Timely’s SDRs and AEs - keeping team engagement high and maintaining a positive culture
  • Develop sales processes that fit our channels, the size of customers, and the industry we’re targeting
  • Help us build a brand new Enterprise customer sales capability alongside our product development in this space
  • Develop an onboarding program that ensures new sales members are deployed quickly into the business with the knowledge and ability to hit quota within the first two months
  • Develop the Outbound sales strategy and build processes for lead identification, research, pitch and sale
  • Ensure increased headcount always drives linear or better lift in MRR
  • Develop and deliver coaching and training programs for the sales team
  • Have a deep understanding of the market: geographies, target verticals and competitive landscape - and the jobs our customers and prospective customers employ Timely to do
  • Develop and maintain a sales strategy that works for small customers, and medium and large customers - two different ways of selling.
  • Assist with trade shows and conferences
  • Continually forecast ahead to ensure recruitment and lead pipeline is fit for targets.

In this position, successful delivery will utilise a range of skills and experience, including:

  • Several years experience in a leadership role in a B2B SaaS Sales function selling to Small and Medium sized businesses
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to nurture and build on people’s strengths
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Excellent eye for detail - ability to create accurate and high quality pieces of work
  • An intellectual curiosity that drives you to be across many layers of communication, both within the team and w
