As an Operations Assistant, you will be working with all Twinkl Australian Product Teams, in order to help deliver the highest value to our customers, to help those who teach. The Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the development team, clearing organisational roadblocks and keeping processes true to agile processes and mindset. The job is to facilitate the work of the Product Development team. The Operations Assistant role is based on servant leadership. The aim of the role is to empower the team to such a point where you are no longer needed.
The Operations Assistant:
- Acts as a Process Coach, helping the development team and the Product Owner(s) to follow scrum values and principles
- Helps remove project impediments both reactively and proactively and shields the development team from external interferences
- Fosters close cooperation between stakeholders and the scrum team
- Organises the timeline of meetings for each sprint, promotes inclusion and ensures good attendance from the scrum team
- To be able to Scrum up to 5 Product Development teams simultaneously, using the Nexus framework
- To empower the Team to Plan, measure and review their work in a constructive, iterative manner
- To be able to work to specified KPIs and deadlines
