A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Excavator Operator at Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM).
Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively and safely operating Excavators, ancillary gear and also learning to operate the Face Shovel, ensuring targets outlined in the Open Pit mining schedule are achieved in a safe and timely manner.
The Production Excavator Operator works a residential roster - 7 on, 7 off , 12.5 hour days and nights.

Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years Excavator 250 Tonne (or above) operating experience in a hard rock mine
- Minimum two (2) years all round open pit ancillary operating experience (Haul truck, grader, dozer, loader, water cart)
- Ability and willingness to develop career and learn to operate large Face Shovels and other ancill-equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture
- Ability to direct and mentor those around you, whilst taking control of the loading zone
- Must reside locally in the Goldfields region for this residential role, or willing to relocate
- National Police Clearance (valid within last 12 months)
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence.
