Having already produced over 60 million ounces the Golden Mile still has plenty of secrets to uncover and ounces to find. We are looking for an experienced exploration and resource definition geologist to help unlock the potential and extend our mine life.
Key Functions:
Requirements
- A Tertiary Qualification (minimum degree level) in Geology or a related discipline.
- Solid experience as a geologist predominantly within exploration but also within both open pit and underground mining environments.
- Proven success in a leadership role involving management of a professional teams and external contractors.
- Broad geological experience and supervision in the design and supervision of drilling (RC amp; Diamond), sampling and QAQC programmes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sampling, QAQC, block modelling, advanced grade estimation techniques, and reconciliation.
- Familiar with budgeting cycles and the preparation and development of budgets and building strategic business plans.
- Relevant Professional Association membership (AusImm or MAIG).
- Ability to think strategically and commercially, approach solutions creatively and consider organisation-wide impacts.
- Well-developed interpersonal and people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to all levels of the organisation.
- Unencumbered Western Australian C class manual drivers licence.
