Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM) is currently seeking a Senior Shift Supervisor to join the Mining Open Pit Department at the Superpit in Kalgoorlie.
Reporting to the Load and Haul Superintendent, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the Open Pit Load and Haul function, including Loading, Ancillary and Hauling Supervisors, ensuring optimization and safe delivery of production targets.
This is a residential position on an even time 7:7 Roster.

Requirements
Essential
- Minimum of eight (8) years open pits mining experience.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by strategically thinking.
- Good computer literacy with ability to use integrated management systems, spreadsheet applications and word processing software.
- Experience in performance management of team members, enhancing team self-esteem using the ability to coach, mentor and influence others, and the ability to build a strong performing team.
- Working knowledge of fleet scheduling software.
- Sound knowledge of the Mines Act and Regulations.
- Formal leadership / management qualifications.
- Quarry Managers Certificate desirable, or the ability to work towards one.
- Experience within all areas across Open Pit Mining highly regarded; example - Dispatch, Load amp;Haul, Drill amp; Blast.
- Current unencumbered West Australian C Class Drivers Licence.
