KCGM is currently on the look out for Trainee Process Technicians to join our Fimiston and Gidji Processing Teams.

These residential positions are on an even-time roster, working 12 hour shifts on both days and nights, providing a great work-home life balance.

The Process Technician reports to the Shift Supervisor, and the primary role is to operate all sections of the processing plant which include, Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Leaching, and Elution, in accordance with Specified parameters, to optimize gold production/recovery. This includes basic maintenance of the operational equipment within the Processing Department.

  • Must reside in the Goldfields region for a minimum of three (3) months prior to applying.
  • Current Unencumbered Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Moderate computer skills.
  • Nationally Accredited Forklift Licence.
  • Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
  • Be a team player.
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and be proactive using initiative.
  • Willingness to follow policies and procedures.
