Join Team KCGM
Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM) is currently seeking multiple full time Geologists to join the Geology Department at the Superpit and Mt Charlotte Operations in Kalgoorlie.
Working a residential, family friendly roster (8:6), the Geologists are responsible for a variety of geological-based tasks, which may include, but are not limited to;
- Delivering the optimal ore grade to the Mineral Processing Plant, through accurate identification of mineralisation, delineation of ore blocks, and supervision of extraction to minimise dilution.
- Conducting exploration which could lead to discovering viable ore bodies which will increase KCGM's Life Of Mine.
- Scheduling, supervision of RC drilling programs, modelling of the resulting data, core logging and data entry, and providing technical support to the operational team during mining.
These roles can be based in the Open Pit, Underground and with the Exploration teams, and provide a variety of support to the Geology Department and teams across different areas of the KCGM lease.

Requirements
Essential
- Tertiary qualification in Geology
- Two (2) years’ geologist experience in a mining environment
- Experience with 3D mining software - eg Vulcan
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Must reside locally in the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate
- National Police Clearance valid within the last twelve (12) months
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian Manual C Class Drivers Licence.

We offer competitive salary packages, health allowance contributions, and relocation support to the Goldfields region for the successful applicant. The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience, with a range of $84,000-$120,000.
