The Senior Android Engineer has end-to-end responsibility for projects of increasing complexity. They are responsible for complex tasks and complete them despite roadblocks, grabbing others for help or insight as necessary.

You will be supporting our Kotlin Android mobile solution that is being rebuilt from the ground up as we migrate away from a Xamarin mobile solution. A core part of your duties will be assisting the Mobile Architect, providing real world solutions with a strong focus on quality of engineering.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Working experience as an Android Engineer providing customisation, development, enhancement and support.
• Must have at least 3-5 Years of Native Android experience and overall experience of 6-7 years in software engineering.
• Solid understanding of architecture patterns and how to achieve off-line first mobile applications.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Should have 2+ years of Kotlin experience
• Should have experience with Rx (Reactive Extensions) engineering patterns
• Should have exposure to iOS software development
• Should have an understanding of NoSQL
