We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Technology amp; Transformation team in North Sydney, who is experienced in all facets of modern enterprise technologies. This role is pivotal to supporting our digital and technology transformation and is central to managing the direction of the infrastructure underpinning our digital growth.

Reporting through to the Technology Operations Manager, you will work with the business, during an exciting time of transformation, to ensure an appropriate security position with enterprise risk. You will proactively partner with the business and technology teams to drive security leadership and best practice across transformational projects in addition to supporting ongoing operational security activities.

As an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer, you already know what is required in this type of role though. So, if you are interested in joining us, along with your previous experience (5+ years) in a similar role and your formal qualifications, it would be great if you also had:

  • Relevant cybersecurity industry certifications such as CIISP, OSCP, GIAC Incident Handler or similar
  • Experience in the security of Azure and relevant cloud and/or Microsoft certifications, including AZ-500
  • Microsoft security stack and auxiliary technologies experience (i.e. PIM, AzureAD, Sentinel, Defender, Cloud App Security, VWAN).
  • Experience using vulnerability and patch management tools (e.g. Rapid7)
  • Knowledge of data protection strategies and integrations including data loss prevention and information rights management
  • A passion for team work and business partnering
