About the role

We are searching for professional, enthusiastic Restaurant Managers who will thrive on the opportunity to work across several establishments in Falls Creek, Victoria - Reporting to the GM amp; Operations Team you will be crucial in conveying our business models and plans and working with other staff in training and development through the season. You will display a professional and passionate commitment to the business.


Requirements

As a Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities are:

  • Training and supervising staff
  • Agreeing and managing budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
  • Promoting and marketing the business
  • Overseeing stock levels
  • Ordering supplies
  • Producing staff rosters
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints
  • Taking reservations
  • Planning and organising functions and catering with Head Chef and Bartenders
  • Greeting and serving customers
  • Problem solving
  • Keeping statistical and financial records
  • Assessing and improving profitability
  • Setting targets
  • Handling administration and paperwork
  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities, sales representatives etc.
  • Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.


Skills and experience

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:

  • Minimum relevant diploma qualification is preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Team leading skills and demonstrated experience
  • POS system experience
  • Knowledge of industry standards KPI's
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Previous experience in a front of house position within the hospitality and events industry
  • Professional grooming amp; presentation
