This role is challenging, interesting and integral to the service we provide to our clients via the SOE Management/Operations team. The SOE Management team is responsible for maintaining the Standard Operating Environment, both traditional and modern, and packaged applications in use.
About the Role
We are looking for an amazing Contract SOE Engineer to join us in this 3-month contract role. You will play integral part in finalising a future scope of work for one of our key client’s in Canberra.
What you’ll do
As Contract SOE Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Development/Maintenance of Microsoft Desktop Operating System and productivity suites
- Software packaging/release
- Technical Escalation point for the EUC team
- Group Policy Management.
What you’ll bring
Please note, you must be an Australian Citizen with a current Australian Government Baseline clearance to be successful in your application for this role.
We are looking for someone with IT industry experience and 5 years plus in an SOE management role. You are passionate about your work, proactive, client-focused and believe in customer service as a point of differentiation in a service offering. You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following fields:
- Windows 10 SOE Deployment and Support
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft 365 Apps (previously Office 365)
- Automation techniques including Powershell
- Intune and Autopilot.
You will be familiar with most of the following technologies:
- Group Policy management
- Profile management
- Software packaging
- Windows Server 2012/2012 R2/2016/2019
- Ivanti environment manager and application control.
