About the Role
As Infrastructure Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for delivering projects and will be called to consult, design, develop and deliver engagements relating to the compute, storage and associated services. You will work in complex customer environments, operating across multiple projects simultaneously; as well as contributing to pre-sales and conducting technical project reviews. Commitment to customer satisfaction and unwavering customer focus are all part and parcel of this role
What you’ll do
As Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring assigned technical customer engagements are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed scope
- Leading technical conversations with key business stakeholders, both internal and external
- Working collaboratively with the rest of the Infrastructure Modernisation team, sharing skills and knowledge of customers.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role you must be an Australian citizen and be willing to undergo a Government Baseline Security Clearance or higher.
You will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering projects in professional services environments, with the ability to design and implement infrastructure solutions. You will have proven ability to communicate solutions in a way that resonates with all levels of our customer’s organisation. You will be confident in your ability to explain the Datacom value premise to bring others on the technology journey, who may benefit from the expansion of the implemented product.
The successful candidate will have previous Professional Services experience dealing with external customers. Along with exposure to all aspects of delivery, including consulting, design, configuration, testing and deployment.
You will have broad skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Storage (NetApp, Nutanix,HDS), backup (Commvault, Veeam), Citrix (XenServer) and Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware).
