You will be joining the Infrastructure Modernization Professional Services team delivering projects to customers in Canberra and across Australia.
About the Role
As Solution Advisor - Infrastructure Modernisation you are primarily responsible for sales and presales. You will be called to consult, design and develop solutions relating to compute, storage, backup and associated services with the primary goal of increased solutions/ Line of Business pipeline and revenue.
In short you need to help customers join the dots from strategy to solutions.
You will also be required to adhere to Datacom Project management methodology. You must be capable of working with minimal supervision, building relationships with peers, management, vendors and clients. As a Solution Advisor, there are additional technical leadership/ mentoring, development of high-level business relations and leadership of high-impact/ profile critical project expectations.
What you’ll do
As Solution Advisor Infrastructure Modernisation, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Sales support - Be the evangelist for our Infrastructure modernization solutions for the sales organization providing strategic sales cycle support, including writing SoW’s, proposals and responding to tenders.
- Consulting be able to establish customer relationships, identify business requirements, take the customer on a transformation journey to adopt new technologies and provide technical knowledge in relation to solutions to resolve business issues.
- Being a Solution expert be able to translate business requirements and challenges into technical solutions and provide technical documentation outlining solutions to clients’ needs.
- Developing strong customer, vendor and Datacom stakeholder partnerships.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role, you must
- Have current certifications in multiple, diverse technologies amp; platforms. E.g. VMWare, Microsoft, Citrix, storage amp; data protection.
- Be an Australian Citizen, ideally possess a AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance or higher or consent to undergoing a Security Clearance.
- You will bring extensive experience working for a large IT services organisation, across project delivery, consulting and pre-sales as an end-to-end Solutions Architect. You will have proven design, implementation and delivery capability in enterprise compute, backup and storage; knowledge of enterprise datacentre technologies; and exceptional technical leadership.
- You will understand the bigger picture, with strong business awareness. Along with proven technical track delivery record in large enterprise and mission critical environments.
On a personal note, you will bring outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be self-driven, results orientated and consultative. Your multi-tasking and problem-solving capabilities will be second to none!
