This role is integral to the Major Pursuits Team. A high profile position, working across the whole company but primarily focused on the Australian business. The work is fast moving and our Tender Support Assistants enjoy the challenge and recognition for being a key element in building the business for the future. In addition, their knowledge of the frameworks they manage and the understanding of client procurement processes provides added value, through increased effectiveness and efficiency.

Working directly for the Major Pursuits Lead, delivery of this role is a key factor in winning work. The position is integral to the Australian business and proper delivery is central to maintaining a company level pipeline of opportunities. Appropriate training will be provided. Supporting both the Australian and UK business units will require some flexibility in working patterns with occasional shift changes although these will be kept to a minimum.

The role responsibilities include:

• The initial selection and distribution of commercial opportunities
• Using digital tools to inform the opportunities of interest
• Assist bid managers and business managers on bid governance, bid qualification and best practice
• Monitor and manage framework/panel communications
• Log opportunities and track bid
• Respond to and update qualification and supplier questionnaire responses
• Manage tender information as a member of the specific opportunity bid team
• Support Business development through the development of graphics

Requirements

The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-disciplined, flexible, confident and approachable
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group and use own initiative
• Proven ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and deliver high quality work on demanding deadlines
• Some organisational and project management skills

It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements:

• Proof-reading skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to deliver ideas and creativity in design
