We are undergoing a sustained growth period and seek highly experienced engineering leaders to fill up to five exciting long-term contract opportunities. These roles will be critical to expanding the support we have been providing the project to date and crucial in shaping one of Defence's most significant projects. Requirements
Talented individuals with 15+ years-experience in one or more of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply:
- Engineering Management. Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining an Engineering Management System in a complex, diverse and geographical dispersed stakeholder environment.
- Systems Engineering. Demonstrated experience in managing the System Specification and design of large complex Programs through the early Systems Engineering lifecycle following established standards such as ISO 15288. Experience in implementing Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
- Test and Evaluation. A strong understanding of Verification and Validation in a Defence context and experience in developing Test and Evaluation concepts, strategies, management plans, procedures and reports.
- Support Systems Engineering. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in developing complex Support System Concepts and Requirements for large Defence Programs.
- Systems Assurance. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Defence Seaworthiness Management System, including the development of a Seaworthiness Case.
For each of the above opportunities, we are seeking individuals with:
- A minimum of 15 years-experience in complex technical management, design, development and integration in the Defence environment.
- Experience in combat systems on naval platforms. Specifically, a developed understanding of the full implications of whole-boat, ship and infrastructure design decisions to ensure combat system and platform system integration.
- A Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical engineering. Applicants with postgraduate education in engineering including Master and PhD will be highly regarded.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed engineering teams.
- Experience in delivering complex projects in an ASDEFCON contract environment highly regarded.
