We are now looking for a passionate, strategic, and detail-oriented Logistics professional to join the Marley Spoon team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in updating and preparing our Logistics processes as we move into our new purpose-built facility in Wetherill Park at the end of Q2.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role is a huge advantage (in a logistics, warehousing or eCommerce environment)
- Strong time management skills with a sense of urgency: you know how to prioritise to deliver against deadlines
- Excellent communication: you communicate clearly and can adapt your style to build relationships with different types of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Customer service skills: you have the customer at the heart of everything you do
- Common sense: you approach daily tasks with a practical attitude
- Able to work under pressure and in a cool room environment.
Role
- Review daily dedicated fleet handover logs and take ownership of the outstanding actions through to resolution
- Monitor all transport bookings across multiple departments are enacted timely.
- Coordinate with transport providers regarding daily pick-up times and proactively communicate any delays envisaged.
- Reviewing daily DIFOT reports and working with the Logistics Manager to address negative trends
- Proactively plan Public Holiday delivery schedule.
- Manage CHEP transfers and ensure all inbound and outbound pallet documentation is completed at time of loading/unloading as per MS pallet process
- Daily stand up with CX to identify any areas that need follow up or focus
- Ensure that consistent and standardised processes are maintained
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Logistics Manager with project-related work
