AEM TECHNICAL LEAD:

In this role you will be a key part of the technical team implementing AEM solutions for our clients. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and delivering the technical solution based on the clients requirements, combined with your in depth knowledge of the AEM platform and it’s capabilities, adhering to best practices along the way. The role will combine aspects of requirements gathering with solution design and architecture, as well as hands on coding and peer review to ensure a high standard of delivery. You will bring your technical expertise and experience from leading previous AEM projects to the team, and assist other team members with their technical implementation. Implementations led by you will be of a high technical quality, secure, performant and scalable. You are a team player, and willing to lead but also learn from others along the way

Duties

• Liaise with clients and business analysts to gather requirements and form technical solutions
• Lead the development team in implementation of the solution
• Ensure quality via peer review of code
• Documentation
• Work with the delivery team to ensure successful and timely delivery

Requirements

• We’re looking for someone with 10+ years of experience in a similar capacity at a high, international level, including 6+ years of AEM/CQ5 architecture amp; development
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Academic excellence preferred
• Adobe certification (AEM Developer, AEM Architect, AEM DevOps) preferred
• Solid experience with Java, OSGI, Sling, HTL, Unit Testing, CI\CD pipelines
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Team orientation and sparkling interpersonal skills
• You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• You can compile technical documentation to help instruct development teams, no matter where they are in the world
• The position involves frequent client contact and builds on your ability to talk about technical matters in a clear-cut way (though you’re free to throw in some specialist terms, just to impress)
• You’re experienced in providing quick ballparks and accurate project estimates, clearly defining the scope and underlying assumptions.
• Teamwork is at the core of how you work. You know when you need to acquire help from a specialist to help you reach the common end goal
